OPEN POSITIONS

Receptionist / Personal Lines Assistant

Detail oriented, personable person responsible for greeting customers, answering phones, helping clients, and transferring calls as necessary. Also, responsible for supporting the Personal Lines Account Managers. This is a Full Time-Partially remote position, with the opportunity for a 3-2 remote schedule after a 60-day training opportunity.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30-5

Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a customer facing job is preferred.

Essential Tasks

  • Greet visitors
  • Manage phone calls
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist Account Managers with making coverage changes and complete all service requests according to workflows.
  • Process requests accurately and swiftly while maintaining detailed customer records.
  • Handle or refer insured’s questions or concerns
  • Interact with others effectively, using good communication skills, cooperate positively and provide information and guidance, as needed, to contribute to the business efforts of the agency
  • Other job duties as assigned

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently to accomplish established agency goals
  • Ability to work as a team player with a committed, positive approach
  • Above average communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify deficiencies or other concerns
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel preferred, and comfort with computer software technology in general.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with an attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuous learning
Personal Lines Account Manager

Responsible for account retention ratio, profitability, and production of a personal lines book of business. This is a Full Time position, with the opportunity for a 3-2 remote schedule after a 60-day training period.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30-5

Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Georgia Property and Casualty License (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Personal Lines Account Manager at an independent agency is preferred
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems’ Epic is preferred

Essential Tasks

  • Actively identify gaps in coverage and advise for additional coverages at every service contact.
  • Prepare rating quotes and proposals to sell to clients.
  • Educate clients about policy changes, exclusions of coverage, and insurance coverage needs
  • Actively seek referrals from the current client base to solicit new business prospects.
  • Handle renewals and remarkets according to workflow
  • Assist clients with making coverage changes and complete all service requests according to workflow while maintaining detailed customer records
  • Interact with others effectively, using good communication skills, cooperate positively and provide information and guidance, as needed, to contribute to the business efforts of the agency
  • Keep informed of industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology through company trainings and independent research.
  • Other job duties as assigned
